The Infernos – America's #1 Show Band
Overview
The Infernos, an internationally acclaimed show band based in New Jersey, was formed in 1977 by keyboardist Bobby Wells. Originally performing locally at weddings, bars, and parties, the band quickly rose above the competition to establish themselves as a premier entertainment group. After several name changes, including "Sidewalk Symphony" and "The Windy City Band," they ultimately became known as The Infernos.
Evolution and Notable Achievements
A pivotal moment in the band's history occurred in 2001 with the addition of
Kenny Simmons. Together with Wells, they developed a captivating stage presence and presentation format, propelling the band's popularity. The Infernos have shared the stage with a host of legendary artists such as Lady Gaga, Barry Manilow, Chicago,
The Temptations, and Gloria Gaynor.
The band has expanded its reach internationally, performing in locations such as Hong Kong, China, and Rome, Italy. This global recognition led to the formation of Rotunda Records International in 2003, through which they distribute original songs and specially arranged cover songs, partnering with platforms like
Apple Music, Amazon, Spotify, and CD Baby.
Current Lineup
The addition of vocalists Walter Christopher and Ja-Tun Thomas has further enhanced The Infernos' dynamic sound, while Vince Torrell’s "Sounds of Sinatra" brings an additional layer of sophistication to their performances.
